Meet Diana, our newest addition to the Lightswitch production team!
Name: Diana Peters
Role: Assistant Video Producer
Bio:
Diana Peters is so excited to join the Lightswitch Video team as an Assistant Video Producer! Media and art is basically woven into her DNA at this point- she’s cultivated a career as an artist, producer, microbudget filmmaker, photographer, and is well-versed in countless artistic mediums. She earned her BFA in Screenwriting from DePaul University, and her dedication to her field has only grown since. She has spent many years freelancing as a portrait and event photographer, and strives to bring authenticity, emotion, and her unique perspective to all of her creative endeavors! When she’s not working, she’s probably studying the art of mockumentary filmmaking, consuming too much black coffee, and pretending she’s a pro roller skater. Her first feature-length film, ‘There May Be Ghosts' released theatrically and in film festivals in late 2021, and she’s currently writing her next feature film.

What was the last TV show you binge-watched?
I can’t stop watching Nathan Fielder’s brilliant meta-reality comedy “The Rehearsal”. Every second of it is pure genius, comedy gold.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I love writing and making movies, roller skating, longboarding, photography, making jewelry, painting, cooking, and anything horror-related. I might have a few too many hobbies.
What’s your favorite season, and why?
My favorite season is the transition between summer and autumn! I love the combination of warm weather, pumpkin spice, and looking forward to Halloween. That time of year isn’t as fun when you’re young and in school, but as an adult it’s the best.
What kind of music do you listen to?
I am trying very hard to listen to a wider array of music than ever before, but I mostly gravitate toward the kind of classic rock your Dad probably likes.
What originally got you interested in your current field of work?
As a kid, I was extremely dedicated to acting and performing, but it became creatively unfulfilling to me in my teens. During my sophomore year of high school, I happened to catch Jaws on TV and it changed the way I viewed filmmaking and what can be done with a talented team of creatives. Over a decade later, film and video is a passion and career that I can’t imagine my life without, and I’m so grateful to now produce content full time with Lightswitch Video!
